Maralee, a real native of Oakville, went to elementary and high school there and then attended school in Boston ­studying Retail Merchandising Management. A single mother with two children, she loves horses and her dog, actually just about all animals! Maralee worked on and off at BARBETTE over the years for her mom, Barb Stone, (A fellow True Diva, We are sure!) who started the business in 1958. Barbette originated as a maternity shop, and then transitioned into lingerie. In the 1970’s, Barbette settled into ladies casual sportswear. Maralee has assisted with these transitions as well as her own. She adores a clothing challenge and has a great eye for it! For Maralee, Relax means being with good friends at home, cooking and laughing.

Liz grew up in Boston/Cape Cod, and has lived in Oakville for 21 years, 15 of those years as a single mom. She has raised two wonderful young men who are fully launched! With her undergrad degree in Biology & Chemistry and a Master¹s in Public Health Environment & Law, Liz had her own consulting business in the medical field for 5 years and then decided to do what she really enjoyed, being creative. She retrained at Sheridan College in color &
design and then worked in retail for two home furnishing stores doing colour consulting on the side. To relax, red wine, music, and creating pottery fit the bill for Liz. She is passionate about the beaches on Cape Cod ­ where she spends as much downtime as possible with her family. She recharges in the outdoors, and recently got into ­ ocean kayaking after having done some Dragon Boat races. She looks forward to her first adventure kayaking trip this spring. To quote Liz” My passion in life ­is living life with a passion! Life is way to short to not grab a hold and go for the ride! I have always taken a leap off the cliff and always knew I would land on my feet. ­ Of course, I took a look over the edge first!!”
